One of the most heat-resistant metals. The melting point is 3422°C, the boiling point is 5555°C, the density of tungsten is 19.25 g/cm3. It has a shiny silver-gray appearance.
Аpplication area
The method of powder metallurgy is used to obtain products from tungsten. The process includes pressing and sintering tungsten powder into a billet,
with further heating of the billet in a furnace, rolling or forging billets. Tungsten-based alloys are used for aircraft and engine parts, as well as in the medical industry.
Tungsten products
Evolik Industry supplies tungsten products of at least 99.95% purity. Products are used to manufacture parts of X-ray equipment, protective screens in the nuclear
industry, heaters and screens of high-temperature furnaces, welding electrodes, filament.
